Quarta-feira dia 10 Abril, 17:00h auditório do Pavilhão Sul – FBAUP

American born artist John Grzinich works across different media but has developed a unique focus on sound over the years. His interest in using sound as an artistic medium has been influenced partly from his background training as an architect but is also driven by a desire to explore forms of non-verbal communication and spatial perception through an auditory perspective. This has resulted in a variety of works using formats of installation, performance, film and an extensive body of experimental workshops based on participatory and collaborative methodologies.

This talk will focus on creative processes that intersect sound, site-specific interventions, and social-spatial awareness as an introduction to his residency work here in Porto. site: http://maaheli.ee
