Construído num tom bem definido, a exemplo das grandes histórias persas, “O Silêncio” descreve o universo de um pequeno garoto cego chamado Khorshid, que vive com sua mãe em um pequeno vilarejo do Tadjikistan e trabalha como afinador de instrumentos tradicionais numa oficina dirigida por um velho artesão. Sua vida é completamente regulada ritmicamente pelos sons que influem em suas ações, trocando a concepção clássica de ponto de vista pelo conceito de ponto de audição.

Built in a defined tone, as an example of the great Persian stories, “The Silence” describes the universe of a little blind boy called Khorshid, who lives with his mother in a small village in Tajikistan and works as a tuner of traditional instruments in a workshop led by an old craftsman. His life is rhythmically completely regulated by the sounds that influence his actions, replacing the classical conception of point of view to the concept of point of hearing.
